Havana, May 3 (ACN) Cuban tourism will be favored by the resumption of flights to local destinations by international airline companies starting in the second half of May.
Tourism marketing director Gihana Galindo made the announcement during the 42nd International Tourism Fair (FITCuba2024) in the presence of Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel.
Galindo said that China Airlines will resume operations on May 17 covering the route Beijing-Madrid-Havana. China Airlines connected Beijing, Montreal and Havana before the COVID-29 pandemic.
Meanwhile, four weekly flights from Portugal will also offer tourists the opportunity to enjoy the summer season here with two of them landing in Varadero tourist center, one in Santa Clara city, and another one in the Jardines del
