HAVANA, Cuba, Mar 5 (ACN) Cuba will host the International Agroforestry Convention “Cuba 2024”, to be held on July 1 to 5 with the participation of some 400 researchers, academics, entrepreneurs, producers and communicators from Colombia, Mexico, Ecuador, Italy and the host country.
ScD Pedro Pablo Henry Torriente, general director of the Agroforestry Research Institute (INAF) and president of the Organizing Committee, said that the conference, which will take place again after seven years of interruption caused by the pandemic, will include the 8th Forestry Congress of Cuba, the 4th International Congress of Coffee and Cocoa, the 8th International Meeting of Young Researchers, and the 7th Cuban Congress of Beekeeping.
