Agents of the National Police of Ecuador entered the TC Televisión channel hours after it was assaulted by a group of armed men
HAVANA TIMES – Ecuador’s president Daniel Noboa, issued a decree declaring the existence of an “internal armed conflict” in the country and ordered the Armed Forces to take action. The announcement came after armed men took over the TC Televisión channel during a live broadcast.
“I have signed an executive order declaring an Internal Armed Conflict,” wrote Noboa in a message on his social media, where he pointed out that he has identified transnational organized crime groups “as terrorist organizations and non-state belligerent actors.”
