HAVANA, Cuba, May 9 (ACN) Issues of interest for the Cuban and Venezuelan people are on the agenda of the Cuban prime minister, Manuel Marrero Cruz, who began today an official visit to the Bolivarian nation until next May 11.
Marrero Cruz arrived in Caracas at noon Monday, and according to what he said upon his arrival, he carries the warm greetings of the Cuban people to the Venezuelan people, and the interest to continue strengthening the friendship and collaboration ties between both nations and their governments.
Previously, on Twitter, the Cuban premier had reiterated the willingness to continue providing the important cooperation that both countries maintain in many sectors, particularly in health, education, culture, branches of the economy and services, and political dialogue at the highest level.
During his visit, Marrero Cruz will pay tribute to the Liberator Simon Bolivar and Hugo Chavez, and will hold official conversations with Venezuelan president Nicolas Maduro, and will exchange with the Bolivarian executive vice president Delcy Rodriguez, among other meetings.
The Cuban delegation also is composed of Jorge Luis Tapia Fonseca, deputy prime minister, as well as the heads of public health, food industry and other high-level officials.
