Cubans Forgas and Boch in shared leadership at National Women’s Chess Cup

HAVANA, Cuba, Feb 12 (ACN) The National Women’s Chess Championship being held in the westernmost province of Pinar del Rio closed its third round with the leadership shared between Yaniela Forgas and Leannet Boch, and Yerisbel Miranda, all with an accumulated 2.5 points.

Forgas, until Saturday the only leader, agreed a draw in her most recent presentation with Lisandra Ordaz in 46 moves of an Ancient Indian Defense.

That result was very well used by Yerisbel and Leannet, who won their duels of the day.
