HAVANA, Cuba, Jan 24 (ACN) Cuban VP Salvador Valdes Mesa and his opposite number in Tanzania, Philip Isdor Mpango, reasserted their will to strengthen bilateral cooperation in areas of common interest such as health, education, agriculture, sports, culture, and tourism.
During the meeting, which Valdés Mesa described as very fruitful, two memorandums of understanding were signed, one between Tanzania’s Sokoine University of Agriculture and Cuba’s University of Artemisa and another between the Tanzanian Regulatory Authority of Medicine and Medical Equipment and its Cuban counterpart CECMED.
