HAVANA, Cuba, Dec 18 (ACN) For a better implementation of the Comprehensive Policy for Children, Adolescents and Youth in Cuba, deputies discussed today the proposals aimed at these age groups of vital importance in society.
Before the Commission of Attention to Youth, Childhood and Equal Rights for Women of the National Assembly of People’s Power (ANPP), Jorge Luis Perdomo Di-Lella, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic, considered that the regulation, approved during the current legislature, is under construction and requires a transforming concept that links the Central State Administration Agencies (OACE by its Spanish acronym), academic institutions and social and mass organizations.
According to Perdomo Di-Lella, actions for Cuban children, adolescents and young people are directed towards strategic areas such as the formation of cultural and identity values, recreation, sexual and reproductive health and the use of information and communications technologies.
