HAVANA, Cuba, May 9 (ACN) The Cuban ministry of public health reported today that as a result of the accident that took place last Friday at the Saratoga Hotel, 35 people have died and 89 were injured.
According to the report, as of 11:30 a.m., 20 of the injured are hospitalized and 34 patients have been discharged from the hospital.

As of 11:30 a.m. on May 9, 89 people were injured, 20 of whom are hospitalized, 34 patients were discharged and 35 died.
The 20 patients remain hospitalized in six health institutions in Havana. These are: Juan Manuel Marquez Pediatric Hospital (5); Calixto Garcia Surgical Clinical Hospital (8); Hermanos Ameijeiras Surgical Clinical Hospital (3); Institute of Neurology and Neurosurgery (2); Freyre de Andrade Hospital (1); Cira Garcia International Clinic (1).
So far, 35 deaths have been reported, one of them in the process of identification. We deeply regret what happened and send our condolences to their families and friends.
