HAVANA, Cuba, Dec 16 (ACN) The presidents of Cuba and Bolivia, Miguel Díaz-Canel and Luis Arce, respectively, reaffirmed on Wednesday in Havana the bonds of friendship that unite both peoples, based on solidarity and mutual understanding.
This was reported on Twitter by the Cuban Presidency, which described as fraternal a meeting held on Wednesday between the two heads of state at the Palace of the Revolution.
Diaz-Canel and Arce noted the excellent state of bilateral relations and expressed their willingness to continue raising the level of political dialogue and boost bilateral cooperation, the Presidency added.
“President @DiazCanelB received this Wednesday at the Palace of the Revolution President @LuchoXBolivia, who is making an official visit to #Cuba, after participating in the XX Summit of the @ALBATCP.”
“During the fraternal meeting they reaffirmed the bonds of friendship that unite our peoples, based on solidarity and mutual understanding.”
“They also noted the excellent state of bilateral relations and expressed their willingness to continue raising the level of political dialogue and boost bilateral cooperation.”
In the same social network, the president of the Plurinational State of Bolivia described the meeting with Díaz-Canel, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic, as very gratifying.
Arce thanked Cuba’s solidarity with his country and expressed that both nations outlined new challenges for the development of their peoples.
“We held a gratifying meeting with our brother President of #Cuba, @DiazCanelB, at the Palace of the Revolution. We thanked him for so much solidarity with #Bolivia and outlined new joint challenges for the integral development of our peoples,” he tweeted.
In another communication, the Bolivian president stressed the need for unity and solidarity for Latin American peoples.
“Of course, alone we cannot walk and we need, more than ever, the solidarity, complementary and integrating support that only revolutionary and progressive governments can achieve, through the unity of the peoples with high social conscience,” he posted.
The President of the Plurinational State of Bolivia began on Wednesday an official visit to Cuba, after participating in the XX Summit of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of the Americas.
