HAVANA, Cuba, Aug 16 (ACN) The Syrian Arab People’s Assembly condemned Washington’s decision to maintain the name of the Republic of Cuba on the list of countries sponsoring terrorism, the Foreign Ministry informed on its website.

Statement of the People’s Assembly condemning Washington’s decision to maintain the name of the Republic of Cuba on the list of countries sponsoring terrorism.
Successive US administrations in Washington continue to exercise their aggressive and arbitrary approach of imposing sanctions on countries and people who do not act in harmony with their authoritarian and arrogant policies, and reject their dictates and hegemonic plans, and defend their freedom, sovereignty, national dignity and independent decision.
