HAVANA, Cuba, July 4 (ACN) Cuba has made progress in environmental protection since the ratification of the Kigali Amendment, on June 20, 2019, according to officials from the Ozone Technical Office (OTOZ).
In an assessment of their results, they explained that they are based on a strategy based on the experience gained with the Montreal Protocol, concluded in 1987 to protect the stratospheric ozone layer by phasing out the production and consumption of ozone-depleting substances (ODS).
