CIEGO DE AVILA, Cuba, May 16 (ACN) The Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC ) and its auxiliary structure began today a comprehensive visit to the province of Ciego de Avila, extending until May 19, to assess the state of implementation of the ideas, concepts and guidelines of the 8th Congress, held in April 2021.
The visit will be extended to the 10 municipalities of the territory and will also allow exchanges with the militancy and the people.
The structures of the Provincial Committee of the PCC, the functioning of its grassroots organizations, the intermediate leadership bodies and the role they play in addressing the main problems of the region will also be reviewed.
In addition to these issues, there are other important topics related to the economic and social activity, the fulfillment of the measures to dynamize the entrepreneurial system and to promote the agricultural production and its commercialization, as well as everything related to the Program for the Transformation of the Political-Ideological Work, the political attention to the communities with greater difficulties and the follow-up of the actions that are carried out in these social environments.
The integral check-up of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Party and its auxiliary structure in Ciego de Avila is the fourth to take place this year (previously Sancti Spiritus, Holguin and Artemisa were evaluated, in that order) and the first one after the assembly process, concluded in April.
