HAVANA, Cuba, May 10 (ACN) Esteban Lazo, president of the National Assembly of People’s Power, recognized the work of firefighters and members of the rescue and lifesaving group, after the accident that occurred on Friday at the Saratoga Hotel in Havana.
According to information from the Cuban parliament on Twitter, Lazo highlighted the dedication, sacrifice, humanism and perseverance in the search for the missing, as well as the attention provided to the families and relatives of the victims.
The President of the Cuban parliament met on Monday with firefighters and members of the rescue and lifesaving group, who continue working in the search for the victims at the Saratoga Hotel.
Miguel Diaz-Canel, first secretary of the Central Committee of the Cuban communist party and president of the country, said today on the same social media that the priority at the Saratoga Hotel is still to find the missing people.
