HAVANA, Cuba, May 10 (ACN) Cuban PM Manuel Marrero Cruz, on the second day of his official visit to Venezuela, will hold official talks with the president of that country, Nicolas Maduro.
The premier will also pay tribute to Commander Hugo Chavez at the Cuartel de la Montaña (“Mountain Barracks”), according to the Cuban presidency’s Twitter.
The head of government will be accompanied by deputy prime minister Jorge Luis Tapia, the minister of public health, Jose Angel Portal, the deputy minister of foreign affairs Josefina Vidal, and the deputy minister of foreign trade and foreign investment Roberto Lopez Hernandez.
This morning, Marrero Cruz toured the Diego Lenin Santana Integral Diagnostic Center, in the 23 de Enero Parish, in Caracas, and visited the homes of the Cuban collaborators.
The Cuban premier reiterated the commitment with the friendship and spirit that arose from the special relationship between Commander Hugo Chavez Frias and the historic leader of the Revolution, Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz.
The present visit, which will last until next Wednesday 11, is the PM’s fifth, and the first in his condition as Head of Government.
