HAVANA, Cuba, May 10 (ACN) Cuban PM Manuel Marrero Cruz paid tribute today to Simon Bolivar, the Liberator, as part of the official visit he is paying to Venezuela, which will last until tomorrow, May 11.
As reported on Twitter by the presidency of Cuba, the tribute, which took place in the Mausoleum that keeps the remains of Bolivar, in the National Pantheon, was also attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in the country, as well as members of the Solidarity Movement and other friends of Cuba.
Marrero Cruz wrote in the book of acts of the National Pantheon, that on behalf of the Government and people of Cuba, he pays tribute to the Liberator Simon Bolivar, sure to continue his example, that of Chavez and Fidel.
The Cuban premier, accompanied by the Venezuelan foreign minister, Felix Plasencia, thanked the warm and friendly welcome received in that country, and the invariable solidarity of the Bolivarian Revolution with the island.
“For many reasons, the great dream of the eternal commanders Fidel and Chavez continues to unite us, that is why our brotherhood is indivisible, that is why our struggle is just and, because it is necessary, we will win”, Marrero Cruz affirmed.
Likewise, he ratified the eternal support to the Bolivarian Revolution, which has more than evidenced that victory belongs to those who found and love peace.
