HAVANA, Cuba, Dec 3 (ACN) Cuban president Miguel Díaz-Canel and Hero of the Republic Gerardo Hernández Nordelo, national coordinator of the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution, paid tribute on Thursday to the Argentinean guerrilla Che and his brothers in struggle, at the Ernesto Che Guevara Sculpture Complex, in the city of Santa Clara, Villa Clara province.
The official account of the presidency on Twitter referred the visit of the Cuban leader to the monumental complex, where the mortal remains of Che rest, as part of the governmental visit he is making to that central province.
“In this minute President @DiazCanelB and @GHNordelo5 pay tribute to Che and his brothers of struggle, in the Ernesto Che Guevara Sculpture Complex: a must on every visit to the city of Santa Clara,” the tweet said.
As part of his activities in that territory, Diaz-Canel Bermudez participated in an assembly of accountability of the delegate to his constituents, in a neighborhood of the city of Santa Clara, according to another communication of the Cuban presidency in that social network.

Díaz-Canel Bermúdez began a government visit to Villa Clara that included visits to the El Condado neighborhood, where he exchanged with the residents of this humble community and was able to appreciate the efforts being undertaken for its rehabilitation.
He also toured the Picadora Poultry Farm as well as other agricultural centers and areas in the vicinity of the provincial capital for the production of food for the people.
